If I wasn't such an old lady this wouldn't be a big deal. Probably. I have nothing to base it on. We had 3 assignments for speech class today. Interview a classmate the remaining minutes of class, write a speech introducing them to the rest of the class, (that we have to give tomorrow) write at least a one page paper on what we expect to learn out of the class, and tomorrow we have a quiz on the syllabus. In my survey of operating systems class there was no homework. The instructor for that class is the same one I had for networking, and is known as the quiz nazi. He said we won't have many for this class. YAY! I think I alone was responsible for the death of a couple of trees last semester. I interviewed a very nice girl that looked like she was about 19, maybe. Turns out she is 27, and has 2 kids, a 6 year old and a 2 year old. She sure doesn't look it. I am 45 but feel like 80, so I guess I am not a good judge of age anymore. I used to be almost right on the money. She said she gets that a lot though.
She loves to write. I told her about the wonderful world of blogging. She may be checking it out soon. I know it helps me to get rid of my doubts and fears. Its nice just to have a release. I feel like I am talking to a friend who sits and listens quietly. I can rant or rave, bitch and moan, and I don't offend anyone that I know in real life, cos no one in real life knows about it. :) Pretty smart move on my part I think.
Time to go to bed. I am going to study for the quiz tomorrow. I get to do this all over again.
